Eco Village Retreat Package

Living and Learning about Green Living for $800 Per Week (for up to 4 persons)

During this retreat you join the privileged few who get to stay at Earthwalk Sustainable Living Centre a 5 acre Eco Education Facility located just north of Colborne Ontario. (60 minutes East of Toronto or 60 minutes West of Kingston or 60 minutes South of Peterborough.)

Live and learn about sustainable living by enjoying all the experiances available at Earthwalk. Learn about how to transform your home and your life in ways that optimise your health and respect the environment that we all depend on. Nature is not only our life support system it offers you ways to optimise your experiance of life and your effeiciency at living. We show our guests how to reduce the toxic loads created by modern life and how to optimise the quality of inputs into your life. At Earthwalk we explore ways to create wholistic system of living that can not only improve your eco lifestyle but can also help you to improve your overall performance.

Included in your stay is a complimentary Guest Membership at Earthwalk which provides access to their eco educational programs. Enjoy the Nature Trails, Healthy Home and Green Building demonstrations, the Eco Wheels exhibits with an Electric Car, E-Tractor and E-Bike, the renewable energy demonstrations, and Permaculture area with demonstration organic gardens, orchard and vineyards which produce fresh organic produce for our kitchen.

EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT INCLUDED
While you are our guest we will give you free passes to any of Earthwalks Sustainable Living seminars or workshops being held in the classroom during your stay. We also give you free passes to the Eco Film Festival screening being held in Earthwalks theatre each evening. You may also opt to take advantage of the optional on site Natural Health Coaching services and Health and Wellness treatments provided by Natural Oasis.

EATING TO LIVE
Healthy and sustainable Living is what Earthwalk is all about. If you like fresh healthy food you are in the right place. Our table reflect our belief in a local fresh organic fair. In the morning you can opt for our breakfast a hearty multi grain porridge or cereal with fruit, eggs and muffins accompanied with juice, fresh organic coffee or herb tea for $8 per person or you can cook for yourself in your own en suite kitchen. If you are cooking for yourself we can direct you to the local markets for fresh produce. You can even go fishing in a local pond where we will guarantee that you will catch a fresh fish for your diner.

LUXURY ACCOMMODATIONS
Your accommodation for this retreat is a Luxury 40 foot "Hollywood Star Trailer" which offers accommodation for up to 4 people with an on suite shower, kitchen, dining room and living room complete with surround sound TV and office with phone and wireless internet access. All with views of our birch and pine forests.

TOTAL HEALTH RETREAT PACKAGE
Experience HEALTHY LIVING AT ITS BEST for $1000 per person per week. For those who really want to give themselves a fresh start we offer our TOTAL HEALTH RETREAT package which includes all the privileges of our ECO VILLAGE RETREAT plus a personal wellness coaching and health plan combined with your choice of nine of Natural Oasis Theraputic Treatments (one each day) as well as a yoga class and a special whole foods diet for the entire week. NATURAL OASIS HEALTH & WELLNESS PROGRAMS

With soothing music playing in the background in a peaceful room we provide certified natural health therapists from Natural Oasis, who will take you into a special experience that will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and in a state of well being and peace.

Eco Village Retreat customers can also access Natural Oasis Therapies on an individual basis at the rates indicated on our health therapies page. Choose the ones you would like to experience and request them when you book your retreat.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
There is lots to do in the area beyond all the activities at Earthwalk. Earthwalk is nestled in the rolling Northumberland hills, offering breathtaking lake views, wineries, golf courses, garden tours, photography tours, beaches, a geologically unique provincial park, orchards, farms, exciting gift and antique stores, art galleries, excellent fishing, museums, fine dining, spas, theatres, hiking, cycling, canoeing, sailing, snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, swimming, art tours, famous apple festivals, fairs, horseback riding, car races, and much more.

There is something for everyone, and for all ages. We are near Presqu'ile Park, where the variety of bird sightings is internationally known. Add to that the beautiful sandy beaches along the shores of lake Ontario and you quickly understand why this park is a favourite for several generations of visiting families.

PET POLICY
We also have a "no dog" policy on site. If you must bring your dog, please make arrangements for him or her to be somewhere else during your stay.

LOGISTICS
Getting There (Visits are by appointment only). From Toronto take 401 East to Colborne (Big Apple exit) and turn right (north) to #247 County Rd #25. Via Trains run several times a day to Cobourg and there are taxis available from the station to Earthwalk. Car Rental, pick-up & return at station: DISCOUNT Car Rentals are also available at 905-373-4348.
