Eco Transportation

At Earthwalk when ever possible we are using our feet, bicycles or our electric tractor to get around the site. However, we are also working on developing zero emission transport to go to town and beyond.

When it comes to Eco transportation there are many existing technologies that could be in use today as well as several very interesting technologies on the horizon. In our Eco Transport Seminar we explore and demonstrate some of the existing zero emission solutions that we can make use of today.

In our Eco Tech Workshop here at Earthwalk we are busy exploring and restoring existing technologies for eco transportation. We do have an Electric Bicycle and Eco Car and an Electric Tractor that we are already working on at the site with several more projects on deck.

However, we are always interested in learning about and developing new zero or low emission transportation that can help people and goods move between communities. We are actively looking for personal and practical eco transportation solutions and we have looked around the world to find solutions that could work here in this country.

Our governments are not exactly leading the way down the zero emission road. Unfortunately there is actually a conspicuous lack of significant government investment in developing these technologies and in some cases our own governments seem to be standing in the way of bringing them to market in this country. However thanks to private ingenuity and initiative the solutions are coming forward and with public pressure it seems hope is indeed on the horizon.
